I didnt really know how but I knew it was time. I joined a gym and that's when I met Robyn Mays and she became my Personal Trainer. With her help and knowledge of body sculpting and a healthy eating plan I was able to lose 70 pounds and started sculpting my body. "I've struggled with my weight most of my life. I went from being a chubby teen to a slightly overweight adult to what's considered an obese adult. I was anywhere between 40-60lbs overweight. My weight of 183 was clinically obese and clearly a health risk. As a parent of twin girls age 10, I was sending my daughters a poor message. Extremely unhealthy eating and hardly any physical activiity, I wanted to be healthy and wanted more energy. I lost both grandparents to diabetes at very young ages, both of my parents have diabetes and during my pregnancy I also had gestational diabetes. I had tried all kinds of "magic pills" detox teas as well as crazy drink diets. Most worked for a short time but who can actually live off any fad diet and I eventally would give in. I hated the gym and had no interest in working out until I began working with Robyn and learned the right way. I began my journey to a healthier me in July 2014 with Robyn's guidance. I began to eat clean with a meal plan she gave me which consisted of 5 meals a day along with an optional protein shake. I felt like i was eating all the time and I didn't starve myself. I had an amazing amount of energy. I lost a total of 19lbs in 60 days without any magic pills or fad diets. Best of all i had so much energy and strength. This was all done the RIGHT way with proper diet and exercise. I will forever be grateful to her for I now have the confidence and fundamentals to stay fit and healthy.
